A local high school student gets a turn on the nozzle fighting a practice fire in the Richmond Beach neighborhood on Dec. 3. Shoreline Fire Department hosts a student firefighting program each semester in collaboration with Shoreline schools.  The house on 15th Avenue Northwest was used for firefighting skill drills, then was burned to the ground for demolition.
