SHORELINE HOME DAMAGED BY FIRE
APRIL 8, 2006

A family of three was temporarily displaced this morning after a truck caught fire in their garage.
The fire broke out around 5:30 a.m. in the 180-hundred block of Firlands Way North.  Two adults and a child were alerted when the truck’s alarm system went off.  They awoke to see the truck and their garage in flames.  They escaped safely and called 9-1-1.

Shoreline and Northshore firefighters responded to the scene. The fire had started to spread to parts of the attic and roof of the home when fire crews arrived.  The home will need extensive repairs before in can be occupied.

A damage estimate was not available.
