ABOUT US

Shoreline Fire Department is located in Shoreline, Washington in north King County.  Shoreline is currently listed as Washington's 15th largest city.  Originally formed as King County Fire District No. 4, Shoreline Fire Department has served the community since 1939.  The Department serves a population of more than 53,000 and covers an area of approximately 13-square miles.

Shoreline Fire Department provides 24-hour coverage for fire and medical emergencies.  Although fire incidents have decreased over the years through gains made by fire prevention, the number of calls we respond to continues to increase - about 80-percent of today's responses are medical emergency incidents.

Even as conditions may change and new challenges appear, we will continue to work diligently to serve our citizens to the best of our ability.  We are proud of our close connections with our citizens and of the support and confidence given to us over the past many years.  As we move into the future, we look forward to developing new ideas to improve the services we provide to our community.
