Shoreline Fire Department has an
official Technical Rescue Team for specialized
emergency operations. This team consists of
20 members who have been trained to
perform specialized emergency operations such as
confined space rescue, structural collapse,
trench rescue, and rope rescue. Annual
ongoing training is provided to the team by
certified Technical Rescue Instructors to
maintain their skills and certifications.
The team members are also required to provide
annual awareness and operations training to
non-team members.
