Shoreline Fire
Department has provided fire suppression
services to our community since it was first
organized as a fire protection district in 1939.
We are primarily staffed by fulltime career
Firefighters. All uniformed personnel have
a minimum of Firefighter I and an EMT
certification. They are also required to
complete ongoing mandated training and
participate in practice drills, training events,
and disaster preparedness.
Shoreline Fire Department utilizes mutual aid
agreements with neighboring fire departments to
supplement crew strength on large structure
fires and/or large-scale medical events with
multiple patients. Reciprocal mutual aid
provided by other departments is beneficial in
situations covering routine calls when Shoreline
Fire resources are actively involved on assigned
calls.
This site is produced, edited and maintained by the
staff and firefighters of the Shoreline Fire Department.
